Everyone knows about the Food Bank holiday canned food drives. Most of us don't know, however, about how the Food Bank of Northern Nevada jumped into action to assist people who were evacuated or lost homes in the recent Hawk fire. They don't know about the food insecurity that exists in elementary, middle school, and high school classrooms or the dozens of other local food pantries they support.
Chief Philanthropy Manager, Karen Senger also serves as co-chair of the Feeding America Network Fundraising Services Advisory Council and as Vice President of the Planned Giving Round Table of Northern Nevada.
Senior Development Director (and new TCC Member!) Stephanie Sellers recently joined the Food Bank of Northern Nevada after spending twenty years in higher education, most recently at TMCC Foundation.
