The TCC’s Gardening Arts Club invites you to welcome the summer season with a peaceful morning at one of Reno’s most treasured natural sanctuaries. We’ll begin with a guided tour of the Wilbur D. May Arboretum, followed by light refreshments and time to wander, chat, and enjoy the gardens together.

Nestled within Rancho San Rafael Park, the Arboretum is truly a local gem—a living museum of more than 4,000 native and adapted plant species thoughtfully arranged across themed gardens, meandering pathways, and shaded nooks. From the vibrant Songbird Garden to the tranquil wetlands and high-desert displays, the Arboretum offers a beautiful glimpse into the resilience and artistry of regional horticulture. It’s the perfect setting for inspiration, learning, and a shared appreciation of the natural world.

Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or simply someone who loves a quiet stroll among the blooms, this outing promises a refreshing start to summer and a lovely moment of connection with fellow members.
