Help, Hope & Courage--Northern Nevada Children's Cancer Foundation

Few things are more heart-wrenching than having your childdiagnosed with a deadly disease. What do you do? Where can you go? Is there any help out there? Is there any hope? The Children’s Cancer Foundation came together as a result of parents who experienced such a crisis, and 25 years later the organization continues its mission of providing help, hope, and courage to dozens of Northern Nevada families.
Each year, NNCCF helps approximately 150 local children for needs such as medical, household, educational and travel expenses related to treatment. All programs and services are provided at no cost to the families, and there is no income requirement to receive services.
A cancer survivor herself, Brigette brings more than 13 years of experience in healthcare advocacy to her role as executive director. She knows firsthand the feelings of fear and isolation that can leave families feeling overwhelmed and alone. Join us in February to hear Brigette’s inspiring stories of courage and hope.
